We are looking to develop an iPhone app that will be used by rare disease patients. The attached PDF provides a mockup of the types of functionality we seek. We have an existing website that has the news and information, clinical trial listings, and clinic locations. We'd like to be able to continue managing the content on the website and provide the data in XML or other format you may suggest. Open on suggestions for the architecture to best push changing information out to the patient population. Would like the ability to have them text to a phone number or provide another means for them to donate to the cause. (might just charge different amounts for the downloading of the app?) Technical folks running the project, but not overly familiar with iPhone app architectures, but can provide the data necessary in any format that would make the iPhone develpment easiest.

My client has a webshop and wants to sent a monthly newsletter based on a cms system example he gave me was twinkle.nl. they sent monthly newsletter looking exactly like the website, So will be new folder with shop/news/ to see that, admin panel to edit, delete or add content. I was thinking about existing cms system, like joomla, word-press, but must be exactly looking like his webshop. the newsletter will be html version hard coded version of the index page with links on it like click to read etc twinkle is very big , its not supposed to be big like that. should have some actions, specific about the stuff he sell in his shop, weblog, news, weather etc

Hi, We need to add a dynamic news section on an otherwise static website(actually 2 websites), with a simple admin panel where we can add/edit/remove news, and it shows as a block on the page. Feel free to use wordpress as our previous programmer planned to do it that way. I want a wordpress plugin that does the following: 1- Enters this website http://www.mre.gov.br/portugues/noticiario/nacional/index3.asp (in portuguese), or any other similar to this one, and goes X levels (admin defined) deep to copy all the textual information from all the links available. 2- The copied information should be presented in a single, well organized, wordpress post. 3- There should be the option for: - Automated process: Every X days or X hours, or at the H hour and M minute of each X amount of days the information is gathered and automatically published. - Semi-automated process: like the one above, but the post goes as a "draft", so admin should publish manually. - Manual process: The admin press a button and the plugin does the job, but the admin should be capable of determining if its going to be published automatically or if it goes as a draft for review. 4- Admin should be able to type any text (a single word or phrase) that he wants to be automatically replace by another (including HTML, to transform words/phrases into links). 5- Admin should be able to establish a prefix or suffix for each post title, like:"NEWS OF THE DAY: XYZ" -> where "News of the Day" is the admin chosen prefix words and XYZ is the date, automatically inserted by the plugin. 6 - Admin should be able to insert html before and after the generated content, this is to place some especial AD, for example. 7 - Admin should be able to select categories and tags for the posts.
