Requirements: Need 2 scrapper developed. Need a scraper created that can scrape all the information from craigslist.org Need a scraper created that can scrape all the information from backpage.com and then deposit it correctly into our database to update our classifieds site correctly. This should include categories and subcategories and as much information as possible. We should also be able to easily modify the script to have it deposit it into different databases tables as we see fit for other classifieds sites we would like to dump the information into. The script should be able to be run by a cron job and be smart enough not to scrape the same ad and put it on our site twice. If you bid on this project please do not bid an insane amount as backpage and craiglist scrappers already exist we just need one that can dump the information into our databases. Frontend: The frontend will look and function exactly as it does now with the current app, there will be no difference other then minor cosmetic changes that may occur from creating new files like css positing of elements etc. Thin includes retaining all title, meta, h1, h2 tags. All /kw/ pages, sitemap, contact us, help/faq, and rss feed will remain intact. Pages urls of inconsequential pages like contact, and help / faq may have their urls changed to static. The contact form should simply send to an email address with no need for db storage. Backend: Ability to change the amount of pages set live via cronjob. Ability to delete pages (one at a time, multiple, all) Ability to set dormant / false pages to live/true (one at a time, multiple, all) Ability to delete categories. Ability to add a link under the Trusted Links section on /kw/ pages **Ability to create dynamic sql sitemap adding pages that cron sets live or set live manually. The sql sitemap should contain a maximum of 50,000 entries and then automatically create a new sitemap. ( ex sitemap1.xml, sitemap2.xml and so on). The Xml sitemap should be Google webmaster tools compliant. (This was discussed during our phone call briefly and included in the initial email regarding the redesign but please confirm this feature is included in the current estimate.) Help needed.. We had working (but really heavy cron job script) Oscommerce XML integration to our wholesaler database before (Product info, warehouse qty, categories etc.) Wholesaler made changes their server connection settings and we had to modificate script again. Now the new script is ready and working in test server, but the problem is that it is too heavy to our webserver to handle. (We have try to change all limits but no help). It disconnects MySQL server after ~10minutes every time. (1.3 million lines and ~200mb data). Now need some help to modificate or split the code or what is the best solution. Code is english documented and commented.

This listings script was built years ago. They did not do a very good job in making it easy for search engines to find the site and listings. So I need a script that can be run maybe as a cron job that will create SEF pages and add it to the ct pages admin page. So what i think will work and help is basically create a map or create a basic pages of each listing. The Page would be created using the companyname-address-city-state-zip.html The page would have header with ctpages logo, the basic listing information Name, address, city,state,zip, phone, fax and the url of the full ad on ctpages.com example http://www. ctpages. com/listings/ listingdetails.php?businessID=19686 and the footer Powered by www.CTPages.com All this info is avail in a mysql db. We probably should create folders for each category and create pages into those folders based on category? Modify sscripto be sef and seo compliant. Create internal links and external links.

I want to use the script found here; http://wiki.tcl.tk/11184 However I'm getting the following errors when attempting to run as cron; can't find package mime 1.3 while executing "package require mime 1.3" (file "/home/*****/public_html/****.org/rssm/rss_monitor.tcl" line 6) can't find package struct 2.0 while executing "package require struct 2.0" (file "/home/*****/public_html/****.org/rssm/rss.tcl" line 3) I am unsure if my host has TCL support, you may have to re-write it using Jquery or PHP, whatever you can. Hi, We have a Flash app which is reading an XML from an admin panel, which is running a 30mins cron job (pulling search keywords from twitter and counting them), to output to the xml. Admin panel -> dbase -> xml file <- front end flash file Currently the cron job is running via admin panel which was supposed to be hosted in admin server. Flash app is on a different front end public server. However, we need the cron job to be running on the front end side and generate the xml on front end public server because we have no access to the admin server. The only node of communication is via the dbase which both sides can read from. The cron cannot be a windows scheduled task and has to be some asp.net daemon script which will fire every 30mins and store data to the dbase. Pls PM me I will send you all files to have a look.
