A designer is finishing the new design for my current site (see the old site at www.koasty.com) and afterwards would need someone to do the back-end programming. Most of the back-end programming is mostly done as you can see on the site so I just need the new design coded to the one I'm replacing. Also, the new design has a few new features I will list below however other than what's listed below it will still have the same functionality. I will get the PSD files and they can either do the HTML/ CSS for you (they are doing DIV and not tables) or I can let you do that if it's easier for you. The design will be done tomorrow and the HTML/ CSS (if you quote with needing it) could be done early next week. Below are some of the new adjustments:
1. DEALS - There will be a "more" button on the individual deals featured in the middle section. The designer created a jquery box that will pop up with more details of that deal when "more" is clicked. On the jquery deal details pop up will be more information along with original price, deal price, and savings, I will need you to put in a Google map which shows visitors where that deal is located on the map (i can find a free script for you to use), and it will have a expiring clock that counts down when the deal expires. I have a script I got online similar to groupon that should have that code for that clock and other things so you don't have to create a few of these things from scratch.
2. When you click on NEWS or TIPS & ARTICLES designer also created a jquery box that will pop up instead of going to another page.
3. The developer who created the website said my site is set-up where people who post deals can login to modify their deals, change their information, etc. I don't yet see this so maybe its in the coding?? None the less I will need someone to go in and make sure that it works so businesses can register and login then be able to add/edit/delete their deals or change address, images, etc. I am also not sure if the deal payment can be changed where it auto-deducts their payment method each month??? If not then I will keep it where they have to enter in their payments each month.
Everything else basically functions the way you see on the current site. Their might be addl changes but if I do I will post under this description and you can adjust your pricing accordingly.
Thanks

Hello,
this project is for a client that just needs to have a proof of concept to see if you are able to create a form with a few fields and country dropdown field that will appear on a google map as a pin within the same domain name.
see requirements and wireframe attached. Once this proof of concept was created, you will be provided with graphics and design and some additional simple features as a separate project with new budget.
graphics in this project is not relevant. we only care about functionality and proof that you can do it.
please do NOT bid if you are not clear about this project. Whoever can show us a preview of some sort will get priority. ask questions and clarifications before placing bid.
no specific deadline is set but we do require you to give us max deadline you need to complete this.
your bid amount must make sense based on your bidding history from your feedback.
ONLY discuss this project, do not post company template text, we will ignore it.
if you are working on a demo, please tell us so that we wait for you.
FTP access and cpanel will be provided.
you will have your own dedicated project manager for this task that is technical and provide you with what you need to complete the job.

I need the following changes done to my site which is written in PHP.
Site: http://tinyurl.com/29wlr9z
- The top menu bar is perfect for navigating throughout the site, but want to change the color of the actual menu bar because after you click on a link, the clicked on hyperlink turn a shade of blue that makes visibility challenging. You can either change the color of the menu bar or change the color of the "already clicked on hyperlink option."
- When you do click on a school, The only thing I would think about adding is the option to click on the Google Map and maybe linking to opening another page that will take them to the search result via Google Maps. This may be useful for someone wanting to click on the map and see how far the school or town is from their home (directions as well). They could also click on the map to view and scroll around to see other cities or colleges nearby.
- Remove the "Select Division" from the search box on the main page and move the "Search Colleges" button in that spot.

I own the site www.campiscout.com i've developed myself in php with an intensive use of google maps api.
because i have no time to do it, i need someone to port it in joomla or drupal.
i don't need the template developed.
the objectifs to reach are:
-bilingual site
-best seo activities
-more possibility of editing and maintainance
Adding just this feature:
- everyone can insert objects. but only what is inserted by anonymous users must be moderated
- in the insert page i need also the registration of hikes path on the maps (saving data as encoded polygone.. i could give example site)
- a real popular tags integration (actually is fixed on the code)
- users can add images and remarks to each item
- only administrator and the creators of the items can edit the info sheets
please notes:
-i will remove google friends connection.. please don't think about it.
-By clicking on the markers it' possible to access at the items sheet. All informations must by stored on db. Don't forget the advanced search on this data.
-It's possible to use open source components, modules, plugins, or you could develope'em. But i will no buy commercial components or modules or plugin etc.

I need an application for navigation that will run on Android 2.1 and above.
I want it to be able to read maps that I load (static map) You give me the kind of Map it can read. I will design my Map to suite the app.
Also I want it to be able to download GoogleMap Data for say a city/state or country and store locally on memory card.
The tablet will not always have internet access so it must be able to store data.
Also the option to either use downloaded google maps or loaded maps to navigate. The Device has GPS module.

I require a map engine similar to Google Maps where users can pan & zoom over a 2D map.
. It only needs around 3 levels of zoom (normal magnification and zoom out twice).
. It does not require showing roads or route planning just show a map.
. When a user stops dragging it should have the option of focussing on the most central map piece.
. When the user stops dragging it needs to load additional data & icons to overlay onto the map. The icons much be click-able.
. Each piece of the map will be around 96x96.
. The maps will be at least 200x200 pieces in size so must be grabbed off a server as needed.
. The user needs to be able to move around the map by clicking and dragging.
. The user shouldn't be able to scroll past the edges of the map.
. The map needs to work without repeated page refreshes.
. The back-end should be in PHP accessing a MySQL server.
. No Flash!
. No using Google APIs.
. Full source code must be provided.
